Marion & Co.

RA Collection: People and Organisations

Marion and Co. were French publishers and photographic dealers who possibly first introduced the carte de visite portrait to England in 1857. By 1863 they also had a London address at 23 Soho Square. In the 1880's they popularised the use of the cyanotype process (blueprints) by selling prepared paper.
