RA Collection: People and Organisations

Photographer. Henty worked for the newspaper The News of the World. He died aged 34, on April 24 1993, the victim of a two ton IRA bomb blast in Bishopsgate, in the City of London. Henty was walking away from the area just moments before the truck bomb went off. A mediaeval church, St Ethelburga's, collapsed, and Liverpool Street underground station was severely damaged.
