French printing house in Paris which has published some of the masterpieces of French publishing and was one of the pioneers of advertising. The company was founded in 1886 by Charles Draeger under the name of “Draeger & Lesieur.” Upon Charles’ death in 1899, the business was relaunched by his wife of Charles under the name of Draeger Frères. In 1908 she moved to Montrouge and teamed up with American advertising, Wallace, to found one of the first communication agencies: Wallace & Draeger, Agence de Publicité

Between World War 1 and World War 2, the company reached its peak. In 1954 Draeger joined the Colbert Committee in 1954. In 1968, Claude Draeger, photographer and grandson of the founder, launched the Draeger editions. He published large format books with renowned artists such as Braque, Salvador Dalí, Magritte and Pablo Picasso. His Draeger Dalihas sold more than 300,000 copies.
