Private press, originally formed by Ron King in 1967 but since closed. Continued as Ron King Studio in Chichester. Other printmakers who worked as part of the Circle Press team subsequently formed ARC editions.
Circle published every type of artist book imaginable with well over 100 artists and poets. Its past history is documented in the publication Cooking the books: Ron King and Circle Press. (2002) New Haven, Connecticut: Yale Center for British Art.
