Brothers Antoine-Simon-Ferdinand Basan (1763/4 - 1798) and Henry-Louis Basan, succeeded to the business of their father Pierre-François Basan (1723-97), and under the name of 'Basan Frères' operated as print-publishers and print-sellers in Paris from 1789 to 1808.
