Winifred Broughton Edge (1896 - 1977)

Winifred Broughton Edge was born in 1896. She was admitted to the Royal Academy Schools in 1913 where she received a bronze medal for painting a figure from the life and an honorary mention for drawing from the antique. She was awarded a Landseer scholarship for two years in 1917, and exhibited three portraits at the Academy in 1917 and 1918, but little is known of her subsequent career.
