Painter. Trained at the Royal Academy Schools. An exponent of the French-influenced ‘Naturalistic’ style of painting. Collaborated with P. H. Emerson on several publications, including: Life and Landscape on the Norfolk Broads (1886); Pictures from life in field and fen (1887); Idyls of the Norfolk Broads (1887); Wild life on a tidal water (1890).
