Prof Sir Timothy Berners-Lee OM is the inventor the World Wide Web. In 1999 he was named one of TIME’s 100 most important people of the 20th century. In 2016, he won the Turing Award, computing’s highest honour. Tim is a Co-Founder the Web Foundation, President and Co-Founder of the Open Data Institute, a professor at MIT and Oxford, and CTO of Inrupt, a company that is helping to build Solid, a platform to re-decentralize the web.
