Sir Peter Courtney Quennell CBE was an English biographer, literary historian, editor, essayist, poet, and critic. He wrote extensively on social history. He was the son of architect C. H. B. Quennell (1872–1935) and historian, illustrator and curator Marjorie Quennell (1884–1972).
