Paul Eastwood (b.1985, Wrexham, Wales) previously studied at Wimbledon School of Art.

Eastwood is interested in archaeological finds, decayed objects and ruins. He is concerned with displaced fragments and how they take on new meanings.

Eastwood is also fascinated in the operations and set ups of play, where participants project role-play scenarios using a group of objects to yield new narratives. Eastwood views and frames art as a social production and cultural storytelling. He performs amongst, and with, the objects to act out their potential narrative meanings and functions. Video is used to construct form for performance and sculptures to sit within. Video, writing and drawing become a way of conjuring things into existence.
