Paul Cornwall-Jones (1937 - 2018)

Print publisher, founded Editions Alecto in Cambridge (with Michael Deakin) in 1960 and then, when Editions Alecto moved to London in 1962, four new directors were added, including Joe Studholme; in 1967 Cornwall-Jones left Editions Alecto and established Petersburg Press, London in 1968, which became a leading print publisher of the 1970s and 1980s for contemporary European and American artists; an office in New York opened in 1972 with facilities for printmaking.
