Mary Grant (1831 - 1908)

Mary Grant was Sir Francis Grant’s niece. She was the eldest daughter of John Grant and his second wife, Lady Lucy Bruce. She studied sculpture in Florence, Romad and Paris. She had a studio in London from 1868. She executed portrait busts, high relief medallions and some religious works, including a curcifixion for St. Mary’s Cathedral, Edinburgh.
