Marianne Thoermer (b. 1987)
Marianne Thoermer (b. 1987, Halle, Germany) studied at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art, Germany and Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in 2018.
Thoermer creates effervescent monotypes, ceramics, paintings and large-scale installations rooted in a 1970s knotting technique.
