Lolly Adams

Lolly Adams (b.1989, London) is a multidisciplinary artist studying at The Royal Academy Schools from 2023-2026. Before this she studied at Byam Shaw School of Art, Central Saint Martins (2011) and was part of and now co-runs and curates for The Other MA (TOMA) an alternative art school based in Southend (2018).

Lolly’s artworks share themes of excess, value, baggage and tendencies of holding on. Her alter egos, such as Miss HerNia, create unsettling worlds, rousing feelings of disquiet through humorous spectacle. In 2022 she was awarded Arts Council funding to develop her performance practice into animation and film making, Grandad’s Tooth will be available to watch in 2024.
