John Morris Reeves (1909-1978) was a British poet and writer known as James Reeves. Llongstanding collaborator with Edward Ardizzone RA on illustrated fiction and poetry for children. Principally known for his poetry, plays and contributions to children’s literature and the literature of collected traditional songs.
