J. P. Heseltine (1839 - 1929)

Accountant, amateur etcher and collector of prints and drawings. He exhibited at the Royal Academy annual exhibition, was a friend of Whistler and lived at 196 Queen’s Gate from 1877-1925, and at Eaton Square from 1925 until his death. Norman Shaw designed both Queen’s Gate and Heseltine’s country house, Walhampton House, Hampshire.
