Frank Howard (1805 - 1866)

History and portrait painter, in London and Liverpool. Son of painter Henry Howard, R.A. (1769-1847). He studied with his father and became assistant to Sir Thomas Lawrence. Later in life he published art manuals and taught in Liverpool.
