“I grew up in North London, Hackney. I have been influenced by the ‘90s grime and drum ‘n’ bass scenes and aesthetics, which were culturally dominant in my school, however, fantasy games such as Warhammer have influenced me a lot, from my childhood obsessions and absurd ‘70s subcultures that have come from my Dad’s side of the family – who got me interested in likes of Sun Ra, Captain Beefheart and Zappa.

I’m interested in making art that is disruptive to what people expect art to be and can breach cultural boundaries that exist between different artistic and cultural forms.

I work in a range of mediums including sound, sculpture, costume, painting, video, performance.”
