Constance Fenn (1933 - 2001)

Constance Fenn was a painter, printmaker and illustrator who was born and lived in London. She studied at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts (1948-50) and later taught there (1959-60). She gained a scholarship to the Royal College of Art in 1950 where she studied under Carel Weight RA, graduating in 1954 with first-class honours and an Edward Austen Abbey Scholarship to Rome. She exhibited regularly with the New English Art Club (1958-74) and at the Royal Academy (1956-72). As well as exhibiting in Britain she also painted and exhibited in France, Germany and America.
