Daniels previously studied at Loughborough University before completing his Postgraduate Diploma with the Royal Academy Schools in 2008.
Daniels makes abstract paintings primarily concerned with form and colour. Masking tape is used to control the edges of the geometric forms placed over a flatly painted background. Using an intuitive and non-scientific approach to colour combinations, Daniels works these through a series of paintings utilising the same formal compositions to create a contrasting visual experience for the viewer.
