They show: [1] Crook of Lune, looking towards Hornby Castle; [2] Ingleborough, from Hornby Castle Terrace; [3] Hornby Castle, from Tatham Church; [4] Kirkby Lonsdale Churchyard; [5] Heysham and Cumberland Mountains; [6] Weathercote Cave; [7] Gateway at Lancaster Castle; [8] Sizergh Hall; [9] Peel castle; [10] Furness Abbey; [11] Aysgarth; [12] Simmer Lake; [13] Hardraw Fall; [14] Mossdale Fall; [15] Marrick Abbey; [16] Wycliffe; [17] Brignall; [18] Junction of the Greta and the Tees at Rokeby; [19] Egglestone Abbey; [20] Tees High Force; [21] Aske Hall; [22] St. Agatha's Abbey, Easby; [23] Richmond Town; [24] Richmond Castle and Town. The one in-text illustration (in the text relating to Heysham, pl. [5]) shows a Saxon tomb.
