Although this volume was not reported to the RA Council as a Library acquisition, the fact that Solomon Hart (RA Librarian 1864-81) initialled the verso of the front free-endpaper indicates that it must have entered the Library sometime between the date of its publication in 1879 and Hart's death on 11 June 1881.
