This work has two folded maps, the first of which serves as the frontispiece and covers the City and Westminster and parts south of the river, and the other (between pages 352 and 353) shows the environs.

Provenance

The front pastedown has the signature 'Robert Hayward Dalston' in black ink. The book was presented by Alfred Hayward in 1953.

Binding Note

The book is bound in brown leather with the spine title in gilt, 'Picture of London'.
