On nature and theology. The work is published independently of the official eight Bridgewater treatises: "The volume here presented ... does not form a part of that series ... " (Preface, p. v). There was a second edition in 1838. A printer statement is found on the verso of the title-page: 'London: / R. Clay, Printer, Bread-Street-Hill.' The work includes an Appendix (p. 161-240); Corrections (p. 241-244); and 'Works by the same Author' (1 unnumbered page).
