The volumes are paginated and its illustrations numbered consecutively (xxii, 132, xviii, 133-246 p., 181 [ie 192] leaves of plates). The plates are numbered I - CLXXXI, with additional plates: LIII*, LXIX*, LXXVI*, LXXVII*, LXXIX*, XCIX*, CX*, CXIV*, CXLIV*, CLXI* and CLXXIV*, thus numbering 192 plates in all.
