The bindings, and offset-litho printing of the illustrations, are by Smith Settle of Otley. The printing of the text, and the hand-colouring of the illustrations, was done at Libanus Press. Set in Monotype Poliphilus and Antigone.” [colophon]
"The Greek text is that of H.G. Evelyn-White, in the Loeb edition of Hesiod. It is in poor condition, and the major discrepancies are marked with asterisks." [Introduction].
