Summary Note

The publication-date of 1675 is given on the title-page of Volume I; that of 1676, on those of Volumes II, III.

Some slight variants are found in settings of the text. The 'Errata sic Corrigenda' following the Preface of Volume II is set in one paragraph in the Royal Academy's copy; but ESTC reports that in some copies it is set in two paragraphs. On page 487 of Volume II-III the top line of text ends 'Earl of' in the Royal Academy's copy; but ESTC reports that in some copies it ends 'Earl'.
