Summary Note

The first sequence of twelve engravings shows subjects from the opening chapters of Genesis, from the creation of the world to the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden.

The second sequence of smaller engravings begins again with subjects from the opening of Genesis and continues with other subjects from the Old Testament.
