Summary Note

The publication-date of 1791 is given on the title-page and on plate 3. Three other plates carry dates - pl. 2, 1714; pl. 5, 1790; pl. 37, 1704.

The plates show a plan, elevation, views (exterior and interior) and sections of Orvieto cathedral, and details of its sculpture (bas-reliefs and statues), paintings and frescoes. The last plate shows sections of the 'Pozzo di Orvieto'.

This atlas of plates was issued to accompany the text-volume, Storia Del Duomo Di Orvieto (1791).
