Each carries the publisher's imprint of J. Nichols and the date March 1 1779 (the first plate of the second volume carries additionally the date 1778 after Pouncy's signature).

Summary Note

The work is essentially a contribution to the history of land-ownership in Britain; but the nine plates show some churches in Normandy.

The plates are captioned and show: (Volume I) map of Normandy and views of Rouen cathedral, Bec abbey, St Stephen's abbey in Caen, Holy Trinity abbey in Caen, Mont St. Michel; (Volume II) views of the cathedrals of Coutances, Evreux and Bayeux.
