The volumes are dedicated by Giuseppe Allegrini (1) to Pietro Leopoldo, Gran-Duca Di Toscana (afterwards Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor); (2) to Maria Luisa, Gran-Duchessa Di Toscana (afterwards Empress); (3) the Gran-Duca Di Toscana (on title-plate only); (4) the Gran-Duchessa Di Toscana (on title-plate only).

Summary Note

The four volumes carry the following dates on their title plates: 1766 (with plates dated 1761-1764), 1768 (plates dated 1761-1768), 1770 (plates dated 1763-1770), and 1773 (most plates undated, some dated 1762, 1767, 1769, 1771) . The titles vary slightly in accordance with the names of the dedicatees.
