Provenance

The verso of the front free-endpaper is inscribed in pencil, 'S.A.H.', i.e. S.A. Hart, librarian of the Royal Academy 1864-81. Hart presented this volume in 1880 (see RA Annual Report for 1880, p. 46).

Copy Note

On a preliminary leaf is pasted an autograph signed letter by D. Campanari carrying the date 'Marzo 7/50'.
