520 2 # $a These engravings were first published in 1711 and reissued in 1715. Another edition was published in 1727.

The plates show twenty heraldic escutcheons by Bernini, six by Borromini, three each by Michelangelo and Algardi, two each by C. Fontana, F. Fontana and Rainaldi, and one each by Bramante, D. Fontana, Cortona, M. Rossi, 'N.N.', B. Soria, C. Maratti, M. Lunghi, F. Della Grega, A. Rossi and R. Cacapecchia. Number 50 is 'Dell'Autore di questa Raccolta'. Most escutcheons are described as made of marble or stone, but some as of gilded metal or stucco. All are from buildings in Rome, except one from Castelgandolfo and the last, which is from Messina, the author's home. This copy also includes the three unnumbered plates which appear in Copy #1 (in this case at the end of the numbered sequence), plus an additional 3 unsigned plates.
