Summary Note

The plates reproduce drawings attributed to Leonardo da Vinci (1-16), Francesco Melzi (17), Bernardino Lovino (18-24), Cesare da Sesto (25-27). Most show heads; some, figures. Fifteen are printed in black, nine in red, and three in black and red (7, 14, 18).
