In the 'Sinne Ende Minne-Beelden' the first two illustrations are signed as drawn by A. v. Venne, and most are signed as engraved by J. Swelinc(k). In the 'Emblemata Moralia Et Æconomica' the illustrations and one plate are unsigned. In the 'Galathee' the frontispiece is unsigned, the one plate is signed as designed by AV Venne and engraved by T. Matham; one illustration is signed as designed by 'VV', two are signed as engraved by J. Swelinck.

The work is dedicated by Jan Swelinck to the 'Heeren Schoutet Burgermeesteren Schepenen Raden ende Regeerders der wijt vermaerde Coop-Stadt tot Rotterdam'.
