All plates are pasted in. One sheet has pasted in an additional, smaller plate, showing two carpenters and signed as engraved by A Bocqure [?]. Twenty-two sheets have pasted in an additional, smaller plate - forming a series illustrating events of the Old Testament, signed as designed and made by F. Chauveau; one of which is dated 1671.

Binding Note

18th-century sprinkled calf; rebacked in 1996, red and black morocco spine-labels lettered 'Oeuvres De Bouche & De La Joue Tom. II'. Bound with 'Livre de Cartouches Inventés Par François Boucher' and 20 others.
