General Note
One of many editions of a work first published around 1801 by Krafft and Ransonnette illustrating the most notable houses built in the late 18th century in Paris and its surroundings. The work is preceded by a preface by Paul Marmottan and followed by 120 plates comprising plans, elevations and sections of the selected houses. Inserted in the work is an 'Explication des planches' which gives brief notes of the location, design and construction of each house.
