The title-page and dedication to Queen Caroline are engraved. The title-page vignette shows a camera obscura being used to create a more exact image for the work.
Provenance
A pencil inscription on the front pastedown reads, 'Presented from the Library of / Jean Spencer 11/07'.
Binding Note
Both boards are detached and the leather spine has almost totally deteriorated.
