This book briefly comprises biographical notes and discussion on Schongauer's engravings (p. 1-5). There is a list and notes on 13 engravings not by Schongauer, but on which his mark had been added (p. 7-8), which is followed by the list and notes on the 117 engravings by Schongauer reproduced in this work (p. 9-24). At the foot of page 24 is the printer statement: Paris. - Typ. Pillet et Dumoulin, 5, rue des Grands-Augustins. This is followed by the numbered, mounted reproductions of the engravings.
Binding Note
The binding is blue cloth on board with quarter binding in green leather, gilt lettering on the spine reading, 'L'Oeuvre de Schongauer' and 'R. A.'
