The printer is named in livraisons [1], 2 and 6 as 'Imprimerie Centrale De Napoléon Chaix Et Cie.', and in livraisons 5 and 7 as 'Typ. Appert Et Vavasseur'.

The work appears to have been published serially. The first volume and livraisons 2 and 5 carry the publication date of 1853; livraison 6 that of 1854; livraison 7 that of 1855. The title printed on Livraisons 2, 5-7 is, Marc Antoine Raimondi Par M. Benjamin Delessert ... Livraison ....

Each plate is pasted onto a sheet carrying a brief printed caption and a numeric reference to Bartsch.

Imperfect; lacks livraisons 3, 4. Each of the two volumes has a paper label pasted on the upper cover, inscribed in ink in an unidentified hand, 'Marc Antoine Ramondi par M. Benjamin Delessart Vol 1 (2)'. The label on the first volume has been partly removed.

Binding Note

19th-century mottled calf, brown paper-covered boards, rebacked in 1998; spines lettered 'Marc Antoine Raimondi Par Delessert I (2)' and 'RA'.
