The titles are in Spanish; the text is in Spanish and French in parallel.

The plates show plans, elevations, sections and details of the Iglesia De San Miguel De Linio (or Lillo) (pl. I, II) and the palace of Ramiro I known as Iglesia De Sta. María De Naranco (pl. III-VI). In-text illustrations consist of a title-page vignette, headpiece and decorated initial, and prints of the Diptico Leodicense, fragment of the baths of Ramiro I and a Latin inscription.

The decorated initial is printed in color.
