Summary Note

Some copies have bound in the paper cover of this cuaderno, of which the title reads, 'Monumentos Arquitectónicos De España. Publicados de Rl. Orden y por disposicion del Ministerio de Fomento. Cuaderno No.' The titles are in Spanish only; but the text is in Spanish and French in parallel. The text describes the mosaic of Galatea discovered at Elche in 1861, and other mosaics discovered in 1862. The plates show details of the mosaic of Galatea. In-text illustrations consist of a title-page vignette and a plan of the mosaics discovered in 1862. The plates are printed in color.
