Summary Note

The half-title reads, 'Chateaux De La Renaissance - Renaissance Française XVIe Siècle'. The plates show plans, elevations, sections and architectural details of the remains of the château of Anet, which was constructed for Diane de Poitiers between 1547 and 1553 to designs by Philibert de L'Orme. Two plates are printed in color (Pt. III, pl. 10, 11).
