Summary Note

The added engraved title-plate is dated MDCLVIII; the title-page appears to have a printed date MDCLVII and to have had an 'I' added by hand. The added engraved title reads, 'La Methode Nouvelle & Invention extraordinaire de dresser les Chevaux les travailler selon nature ... '. Although this French text was translated from English, the English version was not published until later (1667).
