Vol. I (vi, 30 p., 72 leaves of plates); Vol. II (21, [1], 63 leaves of plates); Vol. III (28 p., 61 leaves of plates).
The work was dedicated to Pope Pius VII.

Provenance
The front pastedown of vol. I carries two inscriptions in ink: 'The Lady Synnot / 7 Russel / Dublin' and 'Given me by my Aunt Hesba Stretton, the Authoress. / Gilbert B. Stretton.' Gilbert Bakewell Stretton bequeathed the work to the Royal Academy of Arts in 1949.
Binding Note
Quarter-bound in green leather on green paper-covered boards; the spines are labelled in gilt on red leather labels: 'Antonini / Vasi / Antichi' and in gilt on the green leather of the spine '1 [2, 3]'.
