Copy Note

Inscribed in black ink on title page: "For the library of the Royal Academy this catalogue was the last printed edition never sold in the building, with John Leighton's compliments."

Printed on the reverse of the title page is circular, lilac stamp depicting a knight on horse-back holding a banner which reads "Light On." Printed around the edge is the name "Johannes Lieghton."
