Summary Note
The work describes the mosaics which were part of the chapel commissioned by the banker Agostino Chigi in the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, Rome, designed by Raphael between 1513 and 1516, and executed by Luigi da Pace. They represent God the Father, angels and seven planets.
The first plate (frontispiece) shows an overview of the whole design; the rest show details.
