Vol. I: xviii, 4, 66 p., additional etched title-plate, 73 etched plates; 322 mm. The etched title-plate is lettered 'Examples of Gothic Architecture, by A. Pugin, Architect. Consisting of Plans, Sections, Elevations and Details. Vol. I.' On the title-plate the lettering is set within an elevation of the west front of the Great Gateway at Magdalen College, Oxford, and is dated January 1830. It is lettered 'Domestic Architecture' above the gateway. Printer statement on verso of title-page, 'London: J. Moyes, Castle Street, Leicester Square.'

Bound with Vol. I: Vol. II: title-page as Vol. I to 'Vol. II. By A. Pugin, and A. W. Pugin, Architects, The Literary Part by E. J. Willson, Architect, F.S.A.'. v-xix, [v]-viii, 67 p., 73 etched plates including the title-plate; 322 mm. The title-plate, by A. W. N. Pugin, depicts a 15th century architect at work in his study. The volume's publication statement reads, 'London: Printed for the Executors of the late Augustus Pugin, and Augustus Welby Pugin, and sold by Thos. L. Walker.
