General Note

The descriptive text by Ebbetts lists and discusses sixteen plates; the sixteenth is in fact the title-page with the title within an ornamental border illustrating two square wrought iron pillars fron St Dionis Church, Backchurch (destroyed in 1878).

The printer for the photolithographed plates was C. F. Kell of Holborn.

Binding Note

The boards have a light blue paper cover with the title-page reproduced on the front board; the spine is of brown cloth and has no lettering.
