The work consists of a dedication to John Kinross. A.R.S.A.; a list of subscribers; List of the Plates; Introduction; Descriptive Notes for the plates and collotypes followed by 68 plates of measured drawings supplemented by 72 collotype photographs. It was photo-lithographed and printed in Edinburgh by George Waterston & Sons.
Included loose at the front of the volume is a four-page leaflet, 'Architectural & Art Books Published By B. T. Batsford, 94, High Holborn, London', [1904 probably].
